Photo competition revs up for Albany Classic
THE 2010 Albany Classic motor racing event will be hotly contested this year, both on and off the track, with Albany Camera House introducing ‘Classic Cameras’ the 2010 Albany Classic Photo Competition’.
The competition will feature two award categories: ‘The People’ and ‘The Cars’ with the overall winner to receive a Cannon Digital SLR camera as first prize.
Camera House owner Angela Hooper said the competition was a must for budding or professional photographers alike.
“There is a great prize on offer and we’re expecting a large number of entries before the event begins on Saturday June 5.”
Mrs Hooper said while competition would be strong, anyone with a camera was encouraged to come in and sign up prior to the event.
“We want to see a large variety of different photography styles on show with the winning photographs to be showcased in the Albany Weekender”
“The Albany Classic motoring event is an iconic part of this area’s history, and what better way to capture it for 2010, than with this great competition.”
Registrations for ‘Classic Cameras’ the 2010 Albany Classic Photo Competition are now open. To register visit Camera House, now at Dog Rock Boulevarde, before June 5th.
