Camera house moves to ‘picture perfect’ Albany CBD
Formerly located on Albany Highway, Albany Camera House will soon have a new home, right next door to one of Albany’s most famous landmarks, Dog Rock.
Previous owner of Albany Camera House Andrew Halsall recently decided to scale back his involvement with the business to pursue his career as a professional photographer.
Andrew’s move to part time will allow new owner and amateur photographer, Angela Hooper, to join forces with technology specialist, Ralph Jambor, to form the new Albany Camera House.
Angela said she was excited to combine her business interests with her burgeoning love for all things photography.
“It’s fantastic to be opening Camera House at the Dog Rock Boulevarde, especially with the store being located next to one of Albany’s most photographed landmarks,” she said.
“For me personally it’s a dream come true as I’m a camera enthusiast and budding photographer.”
While Andrew will be stepping back from the business, Angela said he would still work part time in the business and continue to provide ongoing technical support to Albany Camera House and its customers.
“As a professional photographer Andrew brings vast knowledge and technical expertise to the table, he will continue to be part of the business and aid Ralph and I with any special customer requirements.
As the proprietor of Jeweltec Computers’, Ralphs’ experience in technology and IT will be invaluable to us, particularly as we’re keen to expand our business into technical solutions for digital photography”.
